About Us
The parliamentary group Bündnis 90/Die Grünen/SUB combines the strengths of two parties with a clear goal: to shape Cottbus in a sustainable, social, and ecological way. Our joint work focuses on environmental and climate protection, mobility, integration, culture, and social participation.
We see ourselves as a voice for all those who stand for a just, democratic, and diverse society. Through open dialogue, transparent politics, and the inclusion of all citizens, we create a foundation for lasting positive change. Together, we stand for a city that creates opportunities for everyone, where responsibility and solidarity are lived.

As a dedicated local politician, I am particularly committed to sustainable urban development and the structural transformation of the Lausitz region. My goal is a livable and climate-friendly Cottbus for all generations. My key focus areas include expanding public transportation, creating cycling infrastructure, and promoting renewable energy. As a father, I also deeply care about improving the educational infrastructure.

I stand for a politics that talks with people – not about them. A politics that makes decisions together – not alone. I want us to work together as a community. It is essential to ensure that everyone – regardless of their background – has the same opportunities to grow, learn, and contribute.
